Preschool is the single most important time in a child's life.  Not only does it set students up for a successful Kindergarten experience, but a high quality preschool is also designed to set children up for future academic, emotional, and social success.
STREAMLINE Christian Academy partners with parents to set that strong foundation.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a high quality early learning experience to encourage a child's growth academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.  It is through our school bible verse, Galatians 5:22, that we instill a deep character building component which is integrated throughout the school year.

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Galatians 5:22

Philosophy

Drawing from the best aspects of Montessori, Reggio, and traditional approaches, STREAMLINE Christian Academy ensures every child is receiving the highest quality learning opportunity alongside unique, hands-on experiences!

With a commitment to high quality, STREAMLINE Christian Academy is proud to be a member of the NAEYC!

Education

A students’ quality of learning is greatly dependent upon the knowledge of his or her teacher. Surprisingly, the qualifications required to be a certified preschool teacher are minimal.

At STREAMLINE, we are educated adults educating the next generation.

The Director, Ms. Vanessa is proud to have obtained her:

  • AA in Early Childhood Education

  • BA in Business Admin (Finance) with a minor in Child Development

  • California Commission on Teacher Credentialing- Site Supervisor Permit

Experience

Experienced teachers are able to teach more effectively. Having over 20 years of preschool related experience including Director/Teacher at 2 top schools in Orange County (a private Christian preschool and a trilingual immersion preschool/elementary), Ms. Vanessa is able to combine her experiences and her passion for early childhood education to help her teachers deliver a top-notch preschool program!

Training

We also recognize the importance of ongoing training, and have implemented ideas from training including:

  • TK curriculum development/implementation (IUSD and Kingdom Early Childhood)

  • Technology in the Natural Outdoor Classroom (Children's Center at CALTECH)

  • Exploring Engineering and Social Skills in Preschool (Santa Monica College)

  • STEAM Environments (Children's Center at CALTECH)

  • Using Nature to support Math and Science (Dimensions Educational Research Foundation)

The Enviroment

  • Structured and Unstructured Play: Both are critical for a child's development.

  • Choices: Allowing students to make their own choices empowers them and builds their self-esteem.

  • Self-Help Skills: Independence is a key skill needed for Kindergarten.

  • Social-Emotional Learning: Sharing, contributing, compromising and problem solving are all tools mastered at STREAMLINE

  • Inclusion program: combining neurotypical and special needs children in the same learning environment

Why Inclusion?

Our inclusive preschool program will focus on celebrating children's similarities as well as their different abilities and cultures.  Our inclusion program provides:

  • an opportunity to learn about and accept individual differences

  • growth opportunities that equip your child with life lesson about tolerance and looking out for others.
